Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Winding: If the watch has stopped, gently turn the crown clockwise about 30-40 times to fully wind the mainspring before setting the time.
- Setting Time: Pull the crown out to the appropriate position (usually the furthest position for time setting) and rotate it to set the correct hour and minute. Push the crown back in to resume the movement.
Compatibility:
This is a mechanical wristwatch and does not have electronic compatibility requirements. It is designed to be worn on the wrist.
Care:
- Cleaning: Gently wipe the watch case and strap with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Avoid Magnets: Keep the watch away from strong magnetic fields, as they can affect the accuracy of the automatic movement.
- Servicing: It is recommended to have the watch serviced by a qualified watchmaker every 3-5 years to ensure its longevity and performance.
