FAQs

Is this cushion waterproof?

No, this seat pad is designed for indoor and covered outdoor use and is not suitable for leaving out in heavy rain.

Can I wash the entire cushion?

It is recommended to remove the cover and wash it separately to preserve the shape of the internal polyester filling.

What are the exact dimensions?

The cushion measures 40cm in width, 40cm in depth, and has a height of 5cm.

What does OEKO-Tex Standard 100 mean?

It means the textile has been tested for harmful substances and is deemed safe for human health.

Will these ties fit all chairs?

The 30cm ties are generous enough for most standard dining and bistro chair legs, though they may be short for extremely thick furniture legs.

Troubleshooting

Cushion slips during use

Ensure the 30cm corner ties are knotted tightly against the chair frame; if the chair design lacks a secure anchor point, consider using a non-slip rug pad underneath the cushion.

Cover looks wrinkled

Lightly steam the fabric cover or use a cool iron setting, ensuring you do not apply excessive heat to the synthetic materials.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Machine-washable compatible removable cover
Stylish and modern minimalist tufting
Certified safe materials (OEKO-Tex Standard 100)
Generous 5cm height for extra comfort
Reliable ties prevent sliding

Cons

Not waterproof for permanent outdoor exposure
Requires manual knotting of ties
Fixed 40cm size may not fit all oversized furniture

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup is straightforward: place the cushion on your desired chair and use the integrated corner ties to tether it to the chair's legs or spindles. The cushion is compatible with most standard square or round dining and bistro chairs.

To care for your seat pad, unzip the cover to remove the polyester insert. The cover should be laundered according to care instructions (typically a gentle cycle) to maintain the integrity of the fabric. The inner filling should be spot-cleaned only if necessary to avoid clumping or damage.
