Craig & Rose 1829 Chalky Emulsion - Cream

This formula is designed for dry interior areas. It is generally not recommended for high-humidity environments like bathrooms or areas subject to heavy grease splatters in kitchens.

The paint is touch-dry quickly, usually within a few hours, though drying times can vary based on ambient temperature and room humidity.

If you are painting over a drastically different color or porous surfaces like new plaster, a high-quality primer is recommended for the best results.

The chalky finish is delicate. It is not considered a high-washability paint and should be cleaned only with a soft, dry cloth or very gently with a damp sponge.

While it can be applied to wood, the matt finish will not be as durable as a semi-gloss or eggshell paint designed for trim and woodwork.

Ensure you are using the correct pile length for the roller and maintain a wet edge while painting to avoid drying before the next section is blended.

This usually indicates the surface was not properly cleaned or primed. Sand the area, remove loose material, prime, and repaint.

Apply a second coat once the first is fully dry. Chalky emulsions often require two coats to reach full depth of color and uniform opacity.
