Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Measure and Cut: Determine the required length of netting for your application. Use scissors or a utility knife to cut the netting to size.
- Install Supports: For best results, use stakes, hoops, frames, or existing garden structures (like trellises or fences) to support the netting. Ensure the netting is taut but not overly stretched.
- Secure Edges: Anchor the edges of the netting firmly to the ground using garden staples, weights, or by burying the edges slightly to prevent pests from burrowing underneath.
- Cover Plants: Drape the netting over your plants or garden beds, ensuring complete coverage.
Compatibility:
This netting is compatible with most standard garden setups, including raised beds, in-ground rows, individual plants, bushes, and small trees. It works well in conjunction with staking and trellising systems.
Care:
- Cleaning: After the growing season, remove the netting and gently brush off any loose soil or debris. If necessary, it can be rinsed with a hose. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Storage: Store the netting in a dry, shaded area away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures to prolong its lifespan. Ensure it is free of moisture to prevent mold or mildew.
- Inspection: Before storing or re-deploying, inspect the netting for any tears or damage. Minor repairs can be made with UV-resistant tape or by carefully re-weaving small openings.
