MIPS® stands for Multi-directional Impact Protection System. It's a low-friction layer inside the helmet designed to reduce rotational forces on the brain during certain angled impacts, enhancing safety.
The helmet should sit level on your head, about two finger-widths above your eyebrows. The Roc Loc® 5 system allows for fine-tuning the fit. Measure your head circumference and compare it to the sizing chart if available.
This helmet is specifically designed and certified for cycling. It meets safety standards for cycling and is not recommended for other activities like skiing or skateboarding, which require different types of protective gear.
Clean the exterior with mild soap and water using a soft cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or solvents. The interior padding can usually be hand-washed separately.
The helmet weighs approximately 280g for a size Medium. Larger or smaller sizes will vary slightly.
While wearing the helmet, push the rear dial forward and down to engage. Turn the dial to tighten or loosen the retention system for a secure and comfortable fit. You can also adjust the tilt.
The Agilis uses a combination: a tough outer hardshell fused to a lighter in-mold EPS foam liner. This provides durability on the outside and shock absorption within, all while keeping weight down.
Adjust the Roc Loc® 5 fit system dial and fore-aft tilt. Ensure the straps are correctly positioned under your ears and that the chin strap is snug.
Ensure the straps form a 'Y' below your earlobes and are not twisted. Adjust the strap dividers if necessary.
Remove the padding carefully and hand wash with mild soap and water. Allow to air dry completely before reattaching.
Ensure the vents are not blocked by debris or hair. Check that the internal channeling is clear.
