FAQs
What is the main difference between these and classic Chuck Taylors?
The primary difference is the elevated platform sole, which adds height and a modern aesthetic compared to the standard flat sole of classic Chuck Taylors.
Are these shoes suitable for running or sports?
No, these trainers are designed for casual wear and fashion. They do not offer the specialized support or cushioning required for running or athletic activities.
How do I ensure I get the right size?
Refer to the size chart provided by Converse, and consider that the platform may affect the feel. If you are between sizes, you might consider the size that offers a more comfortable fit with your preferred sock thickness.
Can I wear these in wet weather?
While the rubber sole offers some protection, the textile upper is not waterproof. It is best to avoid wearing them in heavy rain or wet conditions to prevent damage and discomfort.
What material are the shoes made of?
The upper and lining are typically made of 100% textile, while the sole is 100% rubber.
How do I clean the pink textile upper?
Use a damp cloth to gently wipe away dirt. For stains, a mild soap and water solution can be applied sparingly with a cloth, followed by a clean damp cloth. Always air dry.
What kind of warranty comes with these shoes?
Specific warranty information may vary by retailer. Typically, Converse products come with a manufacturer's warranty against defects. Please check the retailer's website or contact customer service for details.
Troubleshooting
Shoes feel too tight
Loosen the laces to create more room. If still tight, consider wearing thinner socks or breaking them in gradually over a few days.
Squeaking sound when walking
This can sometimes occur with new shoes. Ensure laces are tied properly and try walking on different surfaces. If the sound persists, it might be a minor manufacturing anomaly and often resolves with wear.
Difficulty walking in platform sole initially
The platform sole may require a short adjustment period. Wear them for short durations initially and gradually increase wear time as you get accustomed to the feel and height.
Marks or scuffs on the rubber sole
Use a rubber eraser or a damp cloth with a mild soap solution to gently clean the scuffs. A magic eraser can also be effective on stubborn marks.

Compatibility: The Converse All Star Lift Ox is a versatile shoe compatible with a wide range of casual attire. They are suitable for adult wearers.
Care:
- Cleaning the Uppers: Use a damp cloth to wipe away surface dirt. For tougher stains on textile uppers, a mild soap solution can be used sparingly, followed by wiping with a clean, damp cloth.
- Cleaning the Sole: The rubber sole can be cleaned with a brush and soapy water to remove dirt and scuffs.
- Drying: Allow shoes to air dry naturally at room temperature, away from direct heat or sunlight.
- Laces: Remove laces for separate cleaning if necessary. Machine wash on a gentle cycle or hand wash with soap and water.
*Avoid machine washing the entire shoe or using harsh chemicals, as this can damage the materials.*
