The Berghaus Prism InterActive Jacket is a versatile, high-performance mid-layer designed for adult women who enjoy outdoor activities in unpredictable climates. Utilizing premium Polartec® Classic fleece, this jacket provides an exceptional warmth-to-weight ratio, making it an ideal choice for hikers and walkers who need reliable thermal regulation without excessive bulk. While it offers superior comfort and durability, users should note that the jacket is primarily designed as a thermal layer and may require a waterproof outer shell during heavy precipitation.

The fleece is not waterproof. It is best used as a mid-layer underneath a waterproof shell during rain.
It is a zip-in system that allows you to attach the fleece inside compatible Berghaus outer jackets for a integrated layering solution.
While the dense fleece provides some resistance, it is not a fully windproof garment and performs best when layered under a shell in windy conditions.
Machine wash on a cool, gentle cycle with mild detergent. Do not use fabric softeners or bleach.
The Polartec® Classic fabric used is highly durable and designed to resist pilling, even with regular active use.
The jacket is designed for an active fit suitable for layering. It is recommended to choose your standard size unless you plan on wearing very bulky base layers.
Ensure both the fleece and the outer shell are fully unzipped before starting the connection, and confirm that both items belong to the Berghaus InterActive range.
Check if fabric softener was used, which can coat the fibers and reduce their loft. Wash again with a technical cleaner to restore performance.
To utilize the InterActive feature, align the inner zipper of the Berghaus outer shell with the corresponding track on the Prism fleece. Ensure the attachment points at the cuffs and neck are secured to prevent the layers from shifting during movement. For maintenance, machine wash the fleece on a gentle cycle using a mild detergent. Avoid using fabric softeners, as they can degrade the technical properties of the Polartec® fibers. Tumble dry on a low heat setting or air dry away from direct heat sources to preserve the fabric's integrity and softness.
