For best results, we recommend treating the wood with Teak Oil after staining to protect it and maintain its appearance. The stain is fast-drying and environmentally friendly, suitable for all softwoods and hardwoods. It's touch dry in 10 minutes and rainproof in 30 minutes. The water-based formula is low odour and non-toxic, making it safe for outdoor use. Application is easy with a foam brush, bristle brush, or lint-free cloth, and clean-up is simple with just water. This highly concentrated stain penetrates wood in a single coat, colouring new wood and restoring old wood evenly. Additional coats can deepen the colour. Coverage is 13m² per litre. The stain is lightfast and water-resistant after application, but sealing with our Teak Oil is recommended. The stain penetrates wood like a dye, allowing the wood grain to show through and enhancing the timber's natural characteristics.
