Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your jacket, always zip up the front and secure all hook-and-loop cuffs before placing the garment in the washing machine. Wash on a gentle cycle using a technical cleaner specifically formulated for waterproof breathable membranes rather than standard detergent, as traditional soaps can strip the factory-applied water-repellent (DWR) coating. Avoid using fabric softeners or bleach, as these will damage the fabric's performance features. For best results, air dry the jacket away from direct heat sources. Periodically test the water repellency; if water stops beading on the surface, you may need to re-apply a DWR spray treatment to maintain performance.
