Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove the VacMop unit, handle, charger, disposable pads, and cleaning solution from the packaging.
- Assemble the Unit: Connect the handle to the main VacMop body. Ensure it clicks securely into place.
- Charge the Battery: Before first use, fully charge the VacMop using the provided charger. Plug the charger into a standard wall outlet and connect it to the charging port on the unit.
- Attach a Pad: Place a fresh disposable pad onto the bottom of the VacMop head, aligning it with the attachment points.
- Fill Solution Reservoir: Open the cap of the cleaning solution reservoir and fill it with the included Shark Multi-Surface Cleaning Solution. Securely close the cap.

Compatibility
The Shark VacMop is specifically designed for use on sealed hard floor surfaces such as:
- Hardwood
- Tile
- Laminate
- Linoleum
It is not suitable for use on carpets or unsealed floor types.
Care and Maintenance
- Pad Disposal: After each use, or when the pad is saturated/dirty, press the button to release the disposable pad without touching it. Dispose of the used pad in the trash.
- No Filter/Pad Washing: The design eliminates the need for maintaining filters or washing dirty reusable pads, simplifying upkeep.
- Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the VacMop with a damp cloth if it becomes dirty. Do not immerse the unit in water.
- Solution Storage: Store the cleaning solution in a cool, dry place.
- Long-Term Storage: If storing for an extended period, ensure the battery is partially charged (not fully depleted or fully charged) and store in a cool, dry environment.
