Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup Instructions
- Torso Length Adjustment: Loosen the strap behind the shoulder harness. Slide the harness up or down until the top of the hipbelt rests comfortably on your iliac crest (the top of your hip bones) when the pack is loaded. Retighten the strap.
- Custom Fit-on-the-Fly Hipbelt: While wearing the loaded pack, reach back and pull the hipbelt adjustment tabs forward to extend or retract the hipbelt fins. Adjust until the hipbelt comfortably wraps around your hips without being too tight or loose.
- Shoulder Strap & Load Lifter Adjustments: Adjust shoulder straps so they sit snugly on your shoulders. The load lifter straps (above the shoulder straps) should be adjusted to pull the pack closer to your body, ideally at a 45-degree angle from the pack body to the shoulder straps. Do not overtighten, as this can transfer too much weight to your shoulders.
- Sternum Strap: Adjust the sternum strap across your chest for stability and comfort. Ensure it doesn't restrict breathing.

Care Instructions
- Cleaning: For general cleaning, wipe the pack with a damp cloth and mild soap. For deeper cleaning, hand wash with a soft brush in cool water. Do not machine wash or tumble dry, as this can damage the fabric and coatings.
- Drying: Air dry the pack completely in a well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight. Ensure all compartments are open to prevent mildew.
- Storage: Store the pack in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use.
- Raincover Care: The included raincover can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. Ensure it is dry before stowing to prevent mildew.
