The Sealskinz Acle Waterproof Gloves are designed for adults seeking reliable hand protection during daily commutes or light outdoor activities in unpredictable weather. These fleece-lined gloves offer a perfect balance of thermal warmth and total waterproof protection thanks to the integrated Aquasealz™ membrane, though they are optimized for versatility rather than extreme high-mountain expeditions.

They are designed to be waterproof against rain and snow, but they are not intended for full submersion in water.
It is recommended to hand wash these gloves with mild soap to preserve the integrity of the waterproof membrane.
These are considered lightweight gloves. They are ideal for mild to moderate cold but may require an additional liner for extreme freezing temperatures.
Yes, they follow standard sizing, but because of the thin fleece construction, they offer a snug, performance-oriented fit.
Yes, the S-grip palm makes them excellent for gripping handlebars in damp or drizzly conditions.
Ensure the S-grip area on the fingers is clean and free of dirt, as buildup can interfere with conductivity.
While the outer fabric may wet out, the inner Aquasealz™ membrane remains waterproof. If the outer layer persists in soaking, consider re-applying a durable water repellent (DWR) spray specifically for technical gear.
To ensure the longevity of your Sealskinz Acle gloves, keep them away from direct heat sources such as radiators, which can damage the Aquasealz™ waterproof membrane. When cleaning, avoid harsh detergents; instead, use a mild soap and cold water, gently hand-washing the gloves before hanging them to air dry. Ensure they are completely dry before storing them in a cool, dark place. The gloves are designed to be unisex and fit snugly; if you plan to wear them as a base layer under larger mitts, consider the fit against your hands to avoid restricted circulation.
