The best way to prevent air bubbles is to apply the film slowly and gradually. Peel off the backing paper in small sections and continuously smooth the film from the center outwards with a soft cloth or a squeegee as you go.

The film provides a water-resistant barrier that protects against minor spills and moisture. It is not fully waterproof and items covered with the film should not be submerged in water.

Apply the film slowly and use a flat tool like a ruler or squeegee to smooth it as you go. If bubbles occur, gently lift the film from the nearest edge and reapply, pressing out the air as you go.

Ensure the surface of the book or document is completely clean and dry before application. Any dust, grease, or moisture will prevent proper adhesion.

Use sharp scissors or a craft knife for clean cuts. Handle the film gently, especially when peeling the backing, to prevent tearing.

Press down firmly along all edges, especially corners. For more stubborn areas, a little gentle heat (from a hairdryer on low) can sometimes help reactive the adhesive, but use with extreme caution to avoid damaging the book.
