Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
Setup:
This rucksack requires no complex setup. Simply adjust the shoulder straps, sternum strap, and hipbelt for a comfortable and secure fit. Ensure any items stored in the main compartment or pockets are evenly distributed for optimal balance.
Compatibility:
- Hydration Reservoirs: The Hikelite 26 is compatible with most standard hydration reservoirs up to 3 liters, which can be placed in the dedicated internal sleeve.
- Trekking Poles: Compatible with most standard trekking poles, utilizing the external attachment loops.
Care:
- Cleaning: Clean the rucksack with mild soap and cold water using a soft brush or sponge. Rinse thoroughly and allow it to air dry completely. Avoid machine washing or using harsh detergents, as this can damage the fabric and coatings.
- Storage: Store the pack in a cool, dry place when not in use. Ensure it is completely dry before long-term storage to prevent mildew.
- Water Repellency: Over time, the DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish on the fabric may wear off. You can reapply a DWR treatment designed for technical fabrics to restore water resistance.
