The Pegdev Strawberry Netting is designed for home gardeners and allotment enthusiasts who need a reliable, non-chemical way to protect soft fruits and young crops from bird damage and pest intrusion. This 3-meter UV-stabilized mesh provides a robust barrier that effectively shields berries while maintaining optimal airflow and light penetration, ensuring plants thrive undisturbed. While it offers excellent versatility for various garden setups, users should note that the netting requires careful securing to prevent wildlife from becoming entangled in the fine mesh.

While the material is UV-stabilized and rot-proof, it is recommended to store it in a dry location during the off-season to extend its life and prevent debris accumulation.
No, the fine mesh is designed specifically to allow sunlight, air, and water to pass through, ensuring photosynthesis continues uninterrupted.
When installed correctly and pulled taut, the netting is safe. Always ensure it is secured so that it does not drape loosely in a way that could entangle wildlife.
Yes, it can be easily cut to any size or shape using a pair of sharp household or garden scissors.
No, the color is purely aesthetic and does not inhibit the light absorption or health of your plants.
Use additional garden staples or heavy-duty landscape pins to secure the edges of the netting to the soil.
Ensure the netting is pulled taut and there are no large gaps at the edges where birds can crawl underneath.
Lift the netting using hoops or stakes so it acts as a canopy rather than resting directly on the leaves.
Setup is straightforward: simply unroll the netting and cut to the desired length using sharp shears. For the best fit, pull the material taut over your support structure to ensure it remains elevated above your plants. To secure, use landscape pegs or heavy stones along the perimeter.
Compatibility is broad, as it works with almost any frame material, including plastic hoops, bamboo stakes, or existing raised bed borders. To care for the product, gently shake off debris like leaves or twigs after the harvest. If it becomes soiled, rinse with a hose and let it air-dry completely in the shade before folding it away. Store in a cool, dry place to ensure maximum longevity.
