FAQs
Is the mattress flippable?
This mattress is designed to be rotated head-to-foot regularly, but it is not intended to be flipped over due to its specific tufted construction.
Does the bed come with storage drawers?
The standard Sofia model described here features a platform-top base without drawers, though other variants in the product line may include them.
What tools are needed for assembly?
Minimal tools are required; typically, you will only need a screwdriver or a small wrench to attach the headboard struts to the divan base.
Is the headboard adjustable in height?
The struts allow for some vertical adjustment so you can set the headboard to your preferred height relative to the mattress top.
What is the warranty period?
This set includes a 1-year manufacturer’s guarantee covering defects in materials and workmanship.
Can I use this bed on a carpet?
Yes, the chrome gliders are compatible with both hard floors and carpeted surfaces.
Troubleshooting
The bed feels unstable or wobbly
Ensure that all linking clips connecting the base segments are fully tightened and that the gliders are level on the floor.
Headboard is loose or rattling
Check the bolts connecting the struts to the headboard and the base; tighten them securely with a wrench to eliminate movement.

- Chrome gliders protect flooring and allow for easy movement
- Complete set includes both the bed base and a tall headboard

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Installation of the Sofia Divan is straightforward. The base arrives as a pre-constructed unit. To set up, simply position the base segments in your room, secure them using the provided linking clips, and attach the 54-inch strutted headboard to the designated points at the head of the frame.
To ensure the longevity of your purchase:
- Rotation: Rotate the mattress head-to-foot every three months to promote even wear on the open-coil springs.
- Cleaning: Vacuum the mattress surface regularly using an upholstery attachment to remove dust and allergens.
- Gliders: Periodically check the chrome gliders to ensure they are firmly attached and free of debris that could scratch the floor.
- Support: Do not stand or jump on the bed, as this can compress the internal springs prematurely.
