The Shires Flat Ring Jointed Eggbutt Snaffle Bit features a thinner mouthpiece which can make it a stronger bit. This design may offer increased comfort for horses with smaller mouths. The Eggbutt style provides a quieter action in the mouth, beneficial for horses that are unsure of the bit. Constructed from stainless steel, this bit is durable, easy to clean, tasteless, and resistant to rust. Available in various sizes: 3.5", 4", 4.5", 5", 5.25", 5.5", 5.75", or 6.0". Mouthpiece thickness varies by size: 14 mm for 3.5", 15mm for 4" - 5.75", and 17mm for 6". Cheek height is 55mm for sizes 3.5" - 4.5" and 75mm for sizes 5" - 6".
