'Elijah Blue' forms small cushions of very fine, inrolled, intensely ice-blue leaves, becoming greener in winter. From late spring to summer it bears narrow, bristly blue-green flower plumes that turn golden-brown. This compact evergreen grass plant is best placed in an area of full sunlight, as well as planting it in moist, well-drained soil for best colour, growth and results. Festuca 'Elijah Blue' offers stunning blue foliage that provides a unique color contrast in the garden throughout the year.
