The Birlea Margot Bed Frame in Black offers a contemporary and distinctive design with its rattan headboard and solid frame, providing both style and comfort through its sprung slatted base. This frame is ideal for modern bedrooms, creating a focal point with its French-inspired aesthetic, but it is essential to note that it is specifically designed for UK standard size mattresses.

This bed frame is specifically designed for UK standard size mattresses only. Please ensure your mattress matches the frame's UK size variant (e.g., UK King, UK Double).
Yes, self-assembly is required. The bed frame comes with a comprehensive instruction manual and all necessary hardware, typically including an Allen key.
To clean the rattan, regularly dust it with a soft brush or a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment. For occasional deeper cleaning, you can gently wipe it with a slightly damp cloth, then immediately dry it with a clean, soft cloth to prevent moisture damage.
A sprung slatted base uses curved wooden slats that flex under pressure, providing natural bounce and adapting to your body's contours. This offers enhanced comfort, better weight distribution, and improved air circulation for your mattress, potentially extending its lifespan.
No, the Birlea Margot Bed Frame is sold separately and does not include a mattress. You will need to purchase a UK standard size mattress separately.
The Birlea Margot Bed Frame is designed with its integrated sprung slatted base for optimal performance and structural integrity. It is not recommended to replace this base with an adjustable bed base or different slats, as it may compromise the frame's stability and design.
The black finish is designed for durability and a sleek appearance. With proper care, such as regular cleaning with a soft, damp cloth and avoiding harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, the finish will maintain its quality over time.
Carefully re-check all bolts and screws, ensuring they are fully tightened according to the assembly instructions. Sometimes retightening all connections after a few days of use can improve stability.
First, ensure all bolts are tightly secured. If squeaking persists, it may originate from where the slats rest or from joints. Applying a small amount of paraffin wax or silicone spray to the contact points of the slats within their holders, or at metal-on-metal joints, can often alleviate the noise.
This bed frame is designed for UK standard size mattresses only. Double-check your mattress dimensions against the specific UK standard size (e.g., UK King, UK Double) that corresponds to your bed frame variant. If there's a mismatch, you may have an incorrectly sized mattress or frame.
For minor fraying, carefully trim any loose strands with small, sharp scissors. Avoid pulling at frayed areas to prevent further damage. For more significant damage, contact customer support for advice.
Ensure the slats are correctly inserted and seated deeply into their plastic or rubber holders. Check if any holders are damaged or missing, and contact customer support if replacements are needed. Avoid placing uneven or excessive weight on specific slats.
