Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
To ensure optimal comfort and performance, slide your foot into the boots. The `regular to wide fit` accommodates a range of foot shapes. You have the option to `play with or without laces`. If using laces, ensure they are securely tied to provide the desired lockdown, but not overly tight to restrict circulation. A short `break-in period` (1-2 light training sessions) is often recommended for new boots to conform fully to your foot shape.
Compatibility
These boots are specifically designed for Firm Ground (FG), such as natural grass pitches, and Artificial Ground (AG), including modern synthetic turf surfaces. Using them on inappropriate surfaces (e.g., extremely soft, muddy ground or indoor courts) may reduce performance and accelerate wear.
Care
Proper care extends the lifespan and maintains the performance of your boots:
- Cleaning: After each use, wipe off mud and dirt with a damp cloth or soft brush. For stubborn dirt, a mild soap solution can be used. Pay attention to the GripControl areas and studs to keep them free of debris.
- Drying: Always allow the boots to `air dry naturally` at room temperature. Avoid direct heat sources like radiators or direct sunlight, as this can damage the materials and adhesives.
- Storage: Store boots in a cool, dry place, ideally in a boot bag, away from extreme temperatures. Consider stuffing them with newspaper to absorb moisture and maintain their shape.
- Odour Control: If odours develop, use shoe deodorizers or baking soda inside the boots.
For the 'Yellow Alert' color, regular cleaning is particularly important to maintain their vibrant appearance and prevent staining.
