Please refer to the battery compartment inside the lid for the specific voltage and size requirements.
Yes, standard bin bags will work, though the included retainer ring is designed to keep them neat and hidden.
It has an IPX4 splash-resistant rating, meaning it can handle occasional water splashes but should not be submerged or sprayed directly with high-pressure water.
Press the front button on the lid; this mode will keep the bin open for 15 minutes before it automatically closes.
First, replace the batteries. If the issue persists, ensure the sensor area is clean and free of dust or moisture.
SONGMICS products typically come with a standard manufacturer's warranty; please check your purchase documentation for specific details.
Check if the batteries are inserted correctly or if they need replacement with fresh ones.
Ensure there are no obstructions, such as overhanging cabinets or curtains, within the sensor's direct line of sight.
Verify that no debris is stuck in the hinge and that the batteries have enough power to support the soft-close mechanism.
To begin using the bin, insert the required batteries into the compartment located on the lid. Ensure the bag retainer ring is positioned correctly after inserting a new liner to prevent the bag from slipping into the bin. To clean, wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth; avoid submerging the lid assembly in water, as this will damage the electronic sensor. Place the bin in an area away from direct, high-traffic walking paths to prevent accidental openings.
