Re-applying the DWR finish is recommended when you notice water no longer beads up effectively on the fabric, typically after several washes or significant wear.

While it offers some breathability, it is primarily designed for moderate activities. For intense running, a specialized running jacket with superior moisture-wicking and breathability would be more suitable.

Softshell indicates a flexible, breathable, and comfortable fabric that offers some protection against wind and water, designed for freedom of movement during outdoor activities.

This jacket provides insulation but is not designed for extreme winter conditions on its own. For winter use, it should be worn as part of a layering system with warmer insulating layers underneath.

Wash the jacket according to care instructions and apply a suitable DWR re-proofer spray. Avoid fabric softeners.

Ensure you are not overheating. For very active use, consider a more breathable layer or open the jacket for ventilation. Check that the DWR is still effective.

Gently clean the zipper teeth with a small brush and apply a silicone-based lubricant or wax to help it glide smoothly.
