Setup, Compatibility & Care
Because this is a technical garment, proper care is essential to maintain its water-repellent properties. Always check the care label before washing; generally, it is recommended to machine wash in cold water using a technical gear cleaner or mild detergent. Avoid fabric softeners, as they can clog the pores of the fabric and strip away the DWR coating. After washing, tumble dry on a low setting or hang to dry. To restore the water-beading performance over time, consider using a spray-on DWR rejuvenation treatment once the jacket stops repelling water effectively. Ensure all zippers are closed before washing to prevent snagging.
