Troubleshooting

Bed frame creaks

Ensure all bolts and screws connecting the base and headboard are fully tightened. Check that the gliders are securely attached.

Mattress feels uneven

Rotate the mattress head-to-toe as recommended. Ensure the mattress is correctly positioned on the platform-top base and that the base is level.

Headboard is wobbly

Re-tighten the screws or bolts securing the headboard struts to the divan base. Ensure the headboard is aligned correctly before tightening.

Base feels unstable

Verify that the chrome gliders or feet are correctly installed and tightened. Check for any damage to the base structure.

Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions

Setup:

Unpack all components, ensuring you have the base, headboard, and mattress.
Assemble the divan base according to the included instructions. This typically involves attaching the feet or gliders to the base.
Attach the headboard to the divan base using the provided struts and screws. Ensure it is securely fastened.
Place the mattress onto the divan base. The non-slip base will help keep it in position.

Compatibility:

This divan set is designed to perfectly fit the included Sloomy Manhattan mattress.
The platform-top base is suitable for most mattress types, but is optimized for the provided 10-inch deep, single-sided mattress.

Care:

Base: Wipe the fabric base with a slightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. For the chrome gliders, a dry cloth is sufficient.
Headboard: Spot clean the fabric with a mild upholstery cleaner, following the product's instructions. Test in an inconspicuous area first.
Mattress: Since the mattress is single-sided, it cannot be flipped. To ensure even wear, rotate the mattress head-to-toe regularly (e.g., once a month for the first few months, then every 3-6 months). Do not use harsh chemicals or soaking agents on the mattress.
