Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Air Force 1s maintain their look, keep the following tips in mind:
- Breaking In: New leather trainers may feel stiff initially; wear them for shorter durations for the first few days to allow the material to conform to your feet.
- Cleaning: Use a soft-bristled brush to remove surface dirt. For deeper cleaning, use a damp cloth with mild soap, avoiding harsh chemicals that may strip the finish.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent leather drying or color fading. Use shoe trees to help maintain the original shape.
- Weather Protection: Consider applying a water-repellent spray designed for leather to protect against moisture and stains in inclement weather.
