The jacket features a PFC-free durable water repellent (DWR) coating, which protects against light moisture like drizzle or light snow. It is not fully waterproof and is not intended for heavy rain.

Machine wash on a gentle cycle with cold water (30°C) and a mild detergent. Tumble dry on low heat. Avoid bleach, fabric softener, and ironing.

This technology is integrated into the lining to reflect your body heat back towards you, enhancing the jacket's overall warmth and thermal efficiency without adding significant bulk.

The jacket is suitable for cold weather but is best used as a primary layer in moderate cold or as a mid-layer under a more robust outer shell in extreme conditions. It is not designed for sub-zero temperatures on its own.

PFC-free DWR means the durable water repellent coating used on the fabric does not contain perfluorinated chemicals, which are often associated with environmental concerns. It still provides effective protection against light water.

The jacket has an adjustable drawcord hem and elasticated binding around the hood and cuffs. You can tighten these to create a more snug fit and seal out drafts.

Ensure all closures (zip, hood, hem) are tightened. Consider layering with additional thermal base layers or mid-layers underneath for colder conditions.

The DWR coating may have worn off. Wash the jacket according to care instructions and consider reapplying a PFC-free DWR treatment to restore water repellency. This jacket is designed for light moisture, not heavy rain.

Check for any fabric caught in the zipper. Gently try to free any obstructions. A small amount of silicone lubricant or graphite from a pencil can help smooth the zipper action.
