Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Preparation: Ensure your motorcycle engine is cool before starting. Gather the necessary tools: a spark plug socket, torque wrench (optional but recommended), and a feeler gauge.
- Removal: Locate the spark plug(s). Carefully remove the old spark plug(s) using the socket. Note the original spark plug's condition for diagnostic purposes.
- Installation: Insert the new NGK spark plug (95371) into the engine. Hand-tighten it initially, then use a torque wrench (if available) to tighten to the manufacturer's recommended torque specification. If a torque wrench is unavailable, tighten the spark plug an additional 1/2 to 3/4 turn after hand-tightening.
