It offers amazing sound quality in a tiny 1RU size, perfect for installation anywhere. The design features a large audio meter with accurate ballistics that can be changed between various audio metering standards. It includes a 12G-SDI input for monitoring audio from professional video equipment, a 10G Ethernet SMPTE-2110 IP video input for seamless connection to IP broadcast systems without an external converter, and traditional balanced analogue XLR HiFi and AES/EBU audio inputs. An HDMI video output is also included for monitoring using large screen TVs or computer monitors. The chassis is machined from aluminium for extreme strength and light weight, finished in deep black and anodized to match other equipment, and its all-metal design eliminates acoustic vibration. The audio meters have 27 levels with individually machined segments for crisp display, and the front panel provides buttons to solo channels, select inputs, and control headphone volume. With a high-powered amplifier and dual subwoofer design, it delivers incredibly big sound in a small package, suitable for noisy environments. The digital processor ensures a smooth, flat frequency response. Precision audio metering with real analog-style ballistics supports various standards like VU, PPM, and Loudness, with independently machined RGB LEDs for each segment. Backlit controls and an LCD display allow monitoring of video inputs, displaying input type, video standard, selected audio pair, and audio levels. Solo buttons and volume controls offer convenient operation, with arrow keys for selecting embedded audio channels. The HDMI monitoring output allows use of large screen TVs or computer monitors, converting the selected input (12G-SDI or 2110 IP) for display. A 12G-SDI loop output is also provided. It supports all SD, HD, and Ultra HD standards up to 2160p60, seamlessly switching between formats. Advanced 12G-SDI connections ensure compatibility with current HD and future Ultra HD equipment. The monitor connects directly to SMPTE 2110 IP networks, conforming to the standard for video, audio, and ancillary data transport over IP. It includes NMOS protocol support for virtual routing and IS-04/IS-05 for device discovery and connection management. It also monitors analogue and AES/EBU audio sources with professional balanced analogue inputs on XLR connectors, an AES/EBU digital audio input, and a stereo HiFi input via RCA connectors. The monitor supports HDR video sources, handling static metadata PQ and Hybrid Log Gamma (HLG) formats according to relevant standards, and supports Rec.2020 and Rec.709 color spaces. Remote administration via a downloadable utility allows software updates and setting changes through USB or Ethernet. The device is localized for 13 popular languages.
