The Buff Neckwear Original EcoStretch is an essential, versatile accessory for outdoor enthusiasts, hikers, and runners who need reliable protection against the elements. Crafted from 95% recycled materials, this lightweight neck gaiter offers excellent sweat-wicking properties and UPF 50 sun protection, making it ideal for high-intensity activities; however, it is primarily designed as a breathable layer rather than for heavy-duty thermal insulation in extreme sub-zero conditions.

Yes, it is machine washable. We recommend washing it in warm water with a mild detergent and avoiding bleach or softeners.
It is designed as a lightweight, breathable layer. While it offers some wind protection, it is not thick enough for extreme cold weather environments.
UPF 50 indicates that the fabric allows only 1/50th of the sun's UV radiation to reach the skin, providing excellent protection against UV damage.
Yes, the tubular design allows it to be easily pulled up over the nose and mouth for use as a face covering.
Yes, it features 4-way ultra-stretch technology to ensure a comfortable fit for a wide range of head sizes.
Avoid using fabric softeners during wash cycles, as they coat the fibers and weaken the stretch memory of the polyester blend.
Ensure you are not wearing the gaiter too tightly; allowing for slight airflow will help the moisture-wicking technology evaporate sweat more efficiently.
There is no complex setup required; simply slide the tube over your head and adjust to your preferred configuration. The accessory is compatible with most helmets and hats. To maintain the integrity of the fabric and the UPF protection, machine wash in warm water with mild detergent. Avoid using fabric softeners or bleach, as these can degrade the wicking properties and elasticity of the material. Air drying is recommended to extend the lifespan of the garment.
