Troubleshooting

Bed frame wobbles or feels unstable.

Ensure all bolts and screws are tightened securely. Check that the floor surface is even. If the issue persists, contact customer support.

Mattress does not fit correctly.

Verify that the bed frame size ordered matches the mattress size precisely. Check for any obstructions or misalignments in the frame assembly.

Fabric appears creased or wrinkled upon arrival.

Allow the fabric to settle for a few days. Gentle steaming from a distance (following fabric care guidelines) may help to smooth out wrinkles. Avoid direct contact with the steam source.

Difficulty aligning parts during assembly.

Double-check that you are using the correct parts for each step as per the assembly manual. Loosening all fittings slightly before full tightening can sometimes help with alignment.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup:

This bed frame is designed for straightforward assembly. It typically involves attaching the side rails to the headboard and footboard, then assembling the support system for the mattress. While detailed instructions are provided with the product, it is recommended to have a second person assist during assembly for ease and safety.

Compatibility:

The Boston Gold frame is designed to accommodate standard mattress sizes. Ensure you select the correct bed frame size that matches your mattress (e.g., Double frame for a Double mattress). The frame provides a supportive base for most types of mattresses, including memory foam, innerspring, and hybrid. Ensure any existing bed bases or box springs are compatible with the frame’s support structure if not using a direct mattress base.

Care:

To maintain the appearance and longevity of the upholstered frame, regular dusting with a soft, dry cloth is recommended. For spills or stains, gently blot the affected area with a clean, damp cloth using mild soap and water. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the upholstery fabric. Specific care instructions may vary slightly depending on the chosen fabric range (Plush Velvet, Naples, Coniston, Dumfries), so consult any provided fabric care guide.
