The Saucony ProGrid Ride 1 is an archival reissue designed for adults seeking a versatile, retro-inspired trainer that balances everyday comfort with a distinct 2008 aesthetic. Ideal for casual wearers who appreciate a neutral cushioning platform and breathable design, this shoe stands out with its unique webbed shank cage and metallic detailing; however, potential buyers should note that this is a heritage-focused trainer rather than a modern high-performance long-distance running shoe.

While it was originally released as a performance trainer in 2008, it is marketed today primarily as a lifestyle trainer for casual use.
ProGrid is Saucony's cushioning system designed to provide a lightweight, responsive, and comfortable foam base for the foot.
The ProGrid Ride 1 generally follows standard sizing, but it is recommended to reference your previous Saucony size for the best fit.
Use a protective water-and-stain repellent spray before wearing them for the first time to help repel dirt.
Yes, the insoles are removable and can be replaced with custom orthotics if required.
This is natural due to the geometric overlay material; ensure you use a shoe tree when not in use to maintain shape.
Use a soft-bristled brush with a gentle laundry detergent solution, scrubbing lightly and dabbing with a clean towel.
To ensure the longevity of your Saucony ProGrid Ride 1 trainers, keep them away from harsh cleaning chemicals. Spot clean the upper with a soft cloth and mild soapy water, allowing them to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources. Since these are a unisex archival release, ensure you consult a standard size guide to confirm your UK sizing requirements. The sleek, neutral white and silver palette is compatible with most casual or athletic wardrobes, making them an easy pair to integrate into a daily rotation.
