The jacket is made with a high-density, water-repellent nylon fabric, meaning it will repel light rain and moisture. However, it is not designed to be fully waterproof for heavy downpours.
It is insulated with 750 fill power down, consisting of 90% RDS certified white duck down and 10% white duck feather, providing excellent warmth.
The jacket is machine washable. Please refer to the specific care instructions on the garment's internal label for detailed washing guidelines, including temperature and drying recommendations, to preserve the down's quality.
Yes, it features one interior pocket with a press-stud closure, ideal for securing smaller valuables.
With its 750 fill power down and high warmth-to-weight ratio, it offers significant insulation. For extreme cold, layering beneath the jacket is recommended.
The jacket is designed to be lightweight and compressible, offering warmth without adding unnecessary bulk, making it comfortable for extended wear and easy to pack.
The outer shell is constructed from 100% high-density polyamide (nylon) fabric, which is both durable and water-repellent.
This is common with down products. To restore loft, tumble dry the jacket on a low heat setting with a few clean tennis balls or dryer balls. The balls will help break up clumps of down and redistribute it evenly. Ensure the jacket is completely dry before storing.
The jacket's water-repellent finish can degrade with wear and washing. Ensure you are washing it according to the care label, ideally with a technical cleaner designed for waterproof/water-repellent garments. You may also consider re-treating the jacket with a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) spray specifically designed for outdoor apparel.
First, check for any fabric caught in the zipper teeth and gently remove it. If the zipper is still stiff, apply a small amount of zipper lubricant (such as wax or a specialized zipper lube) to the teeth. Work the zipper up and down several times to distribute the lubricant.
The Belstaff Circuit Down Filled Jacket requires no complex setup; simply put it on and adjust the throat latch as needed for comfort and protection. It is compatible with a wide range of casual and smart-casual attire, particularly complementing denim and smart trainers for an urban look. For care, the jacket is machine washable. It is crucial to carefully read and follow the specific washing instructions provided on the garment's label to maintain the integrity of the down filling, water repellency, and overall condition. Improper washing can damage the down and fabric.
