Product Information

Full details

The Winmau SightRight2 is an essential training aid for dart players of all skill levels who struggle with inconsistent alignment or aim. By utilizing a proven 4-step visual calibration process, this device helps you identify and correct your stance to ensure your eyes, shoulder, and dart are perfectly aligned with your target, ultimately increasing your accuracy on doubles and trebles. While it is highly effective for correcting sighting errors, users should note that it requires consistent practice to build the muscle memory necessary to replicate this alignment during high-pressure match play.

FAQs

Can I use the SightRight2 during an official match?

No, it is designed strictly as a training and practice tool to be used during practice sessions only.

Does it work for both left and right-handed players?

Yes, the device is fully ambidextrous and can be configured to help players regardless of their dominant throwing hand.

How long does it take to see results?

Most players notice an improvement in their alignment consistency within a few sessions, though long-term muscle memory takes consistent practice.

Do I need any tools to set it up?

No tools are required. The device is designed for simple, manual placement during your practice sessions.

Will this fix a poor throwing motion?

The SightRight2 addresses your alignment and sighting; it does not replace the mechanical requirements of a smooth, repeatable throwing motion.

Troubleshooting

Difficulty seeing the alignment markers clearly.

Ensure you are standing in the correct position and that your lighting source is not creating glare on the device surface.

Results seem inconsistent after multiple attempts.

Check that your stance on the oche is identical each time; even small variations in foot placement will shift your line of sight.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Significantly reduces missing the target due to parallax errors
Easy to understand and quick to implement in training sessions
Durable construction suitable for frequent practice
Helps build a repeatable and reliable throwing routine

Cons

Requires time to integrate into your standard throwing habit
Does not replace the need for physical throwing practice
Dependent on standing in the exact same spot on the oche

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setting up the Winmau SightRight2 involves positioning the device so that it provides a clear visual path between your eye and the target area. It is universally compatible with standard professional dartboards and can be used on any level floor. To ensure longevity, store the unit in a cool, dry place to prevent warping or damage to the sighting surface. If the device surface collects dust, wipe it down with a soft, lint-free cloth to maintain clear visibility of the alignment markers. Avoid dropping the device, as consistent precision is reliant on the integrity of the sighting frame.
