Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your boots maintain their appearance and functionality, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Initial Break-in: Wear the boots for short durations initially to allow the full-grain leather to soften and conform to your foot shape.
- Cleaning: Wipe down the exterior with a damp cloth to remove dirt. Use a soft brush to dislodge debris from the lugged sole.
- Conditioning: Apply a leather conditioner or cream specifically designed for full-grain leather every few months to prevent cracking and maintain the deep black pigment.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight or artificial heat sources, which can cause the leather to become brittle.
- Fit: Ensure you are wearing appropriate mid-weight socks to maintain the intended fit and insulation properties of the boot.
