The 4lite Fire Rated Adjustable Downlight is designed for homeowners and contractors looking for a versatile, safety-conscious lighting solution for residential or commercial ceilings. Its key benefit is the adjustable gimbal mechanism, which allows you to tilt and rotate light to highlight specific architectural features or artwork. The main caveat is its IP20 rating, which limits its use to dry, indoor areas, making it unsuitable for wet zones like showers or exterior locations.

Installation should always be performed by a qualified electrician to ensure compliance with local electrical safety standards. The fixture is designed for recessed mounting into ceiling voids. Ensure your ceiling depth can accommodate the 105mm height of the unit. To maintain the fixture, ensure power is isolated before any maintenance. Dust the bezel gently with a dry cloth to maintain the matt white finish; avoid abrasive cleaners that could damage the coating. When changing bulbs, simply twist the locking ring counter-clockwise to release the existing bulb and insert the new one.
