This product is specifically designed for the Freefoam weatherboard cladding system and may not fit securely with other manufacturers' profiles.
The component comes in a factory-finished Sage Green; painting it is generally not recommended as it may affect the weather-resistant properties and finish.
The component typically requires standard corrosion-resistant fixings suitable for external use, which are usually sold separately.
Yes, the product is engineered to be UV-stable to prevent significant fading over time under normal outdoor exposure.
You can trim the component using a fine-toothed wood saw or a miter saw to ensure a clean, straight edge.
Check that there is no debris in the locking channels and ensure the base part is mounted level and square to the cladding planks.
Ensure that the cladding boards were measured accurately to the edge of the corner base and are not bowed or warped.
Before installation, ensure your timber battens are correctly spaced to support the corner profile. The two-part system is designed to snap together, so avoid using excessive force or metal hammers which might scratch the Sage Green finish. For maintenance, the material is low-maintenance; simply clean with a soft cloth and mild soapy water to remove dust or organic growth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these may damage the color coating.
