Product Information

Full details

The Callaway Quantum Max D Driver is designed for adult female golfers seeking higher launch and improved fairway accuracy. Its key benefit lies in its draw-biased setup and advanced face technologies, promoting forgiveness and consistent ball speed for straighter drives. A potential caveat is that custom fitting is required for left-handed players. This driver features Tri-Force Face Technology for ball speed across the face, AI-optimized design for fine-tuned launch and spin, internal heel weighting for a draw bias, a high-MOI shape for stability, and OptiFit hosel adjustability for loft and lie customization.

FAQs

Who is the Callaway Quantum Max D Driver designed for?

This driver is specifically designed for adult female golfers looking to improve their launch conditions, achieve higher ball flight, and gain more control over their drives, particularly those who tend to slice.

What is the benefit of the draw-biased design?

The internal heel weighting encourages a draw bias, which helps golfers who tend to slice the ball to bring it back from right to left, leading to straighter drives and more time spent in the fairway.

How does the Tri-Force Face Technology work?

This technology combines different materials (Titanium, Poly Mesh, Carbon Fibre) in the face to create a larger sweet spot and maintain high ball speeds across a wider area, ensuring good distance even on mishits.

Can I adjust the loft and lie angle of this driver?

Yes, the driver features the OptiFit Hosel Adjustability, which allows for eight independent loft and lie configurations to help you dial in your preferred ball flight.

Is this driver suitable for beginners?

Yes, the forgiving shape, high MOI, and draw bias make it suitable for beginners and intermediate players looking for assistance with launch and directional control.

Are left-handed versions available?

Left-handed availability is custom order only. Please consult with a retailer or custom fitter for ordering options.

What is the shaft and grip on this driver?

The driver comes with a Mitsubishi Chemical Eldio 40 shaft in ladies' flex and a standard size Lamkin ST Soft grip.

Troubleshooting

Ball flight is too high or too low.

Adjust the loft using the OptiFit hosel. Increase loft for a lower ball flight, decrease loft for a higher ball flight, in conjunction with adjusting the lie angle for optimal results.

Experiencing consistent slices.

Ensure the internal heel weighting is correctly set up. If issues persist, consider adjusting the loft and lie angle using the OptiFit hosel to encourage a more neutral or draw bias.

Reduced ball speed on off-center hits.

While the Tri-Force Face Technology offers forgiveness, ensure proper swing mechanics. If problems persist, consult a fitter to check for any swing flaws or club issues.

Clubhead feels unstable during the swing.

Verify that the club is properly assembled and that the hosel settings are secure. The high-MOI design should provide stability; if not, there may be an issue requiring professional inspection.

Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions

Setup:

The Callaway Quantum Max D Driver comes with the OptiFit Hosel, allowing for adjustments to loft and lie angle. Consult the OptiFit manual or a qualified club fitter to understand the eight available configurations and how they affect ball flight. Standard configurations are set for right-handed players; custom options are available for left-handed players.

Compatibility:

This driver is designed for adult female golfers. The included Mitsubishi Chemical Eldio 40 shaft is tailored for a ladies' flex, providing optimal performance for slower swing speeds. The Lamkin ST Soft grip is standard size.

Care:

Clean the clubface and sole after each use with a soft, damp cloth to remove dirt and grass. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or brushes that could scratch the finish. Store the driver in its headcover when not in use to protect it from scratches and dents.
