MIPS stands for Multi-directional Impact Protection System. It is an internal layer designed to rotate inside the helmet to reduce the rotational energy transferred to the brain during an impact.

While it is designed for road and gravel, the durable construction and safety features make it versatile for light off-road use, though it does not provide the extended rear coverage of a dedicated mountain bike helmet.

It is recommended to replace any cycling helmet after an impact, or every 3-5 years due to natural degradation of the EPS foam materials, even if no visible damage is present.

The bug-net is integrated into the helmet's design. It should not be removed as it helps maintain the structural ventilation flow and keeps debris out.

The internal padding is usually removable; hand wash the pads in cold water with a mild detergent and air dry them completely before re-inserting.

Re-adjust the rear dial to ensure it sits firmly against the back of your head and check that the chin straps are tensioned evenly.

Check the front intake vents for any trapped debris or blocked mesh from the integrated bug-net and clean as needed.

Ensure the fit system is not too tight; you should be able to fit two fingers between the chin strap and your chin for an ideal fit.
