Troubleshooting

Board appears to be bowing or sagging

Difficulty inserting into existing track

Ensure the track is free of debris and that the board edge has been filed smooth after cutting to prevent snags.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Reduces risk of damp and condensation in cold roof structures
Lightweight material makes handling and installation manageable
Easy to cut on-site using standard carpentry tools
10-year manufacturer guarantee ensures long-term peace of mind
Seamlessly integrates with existing fascia and guttering systems

Cons

Not suitable for roof pitches below 30 degrees
Fixed width of 150mm may not accommodate all eaves depths
White finish may require periodic cleaning in dusty environments

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Installation involves securing the boards to the roof joists or a perimeter support profile. Ensure that the support structure is level to maintain the aesthetic line of the eaves. When cutting, always wear safety goggles and use a sharp blade to ensure clean edges. The board is fully compatible with standard Freefoam fascia and guttering systems.

Care instructions are straightforward: simply wipe the board down with a damp cloth and a mild soap solution if dirt or grime accumulates over time. Avoid using abrasive cleaning pads or strong solvents, as these may damage the smooth white surface finish.
