The Clae Deane Trainers are not inherently waterproof. The suede and Nappa leather upper can be sensitive to moisture. We recommend applying a water and stain repellent spray designed for these materials to offer some protection against light rain and spills.

For suede, use a specialized suede brush to remove dirt and an eraser for scuffs. For Nappa leather, wipe gently with a soft, damp cloth and use a leather cleaner for tougher marks. Always air dry away from heat. Avoid harsh chemicals.

These trainers are best suited for dry weather to preserve the quality of the suede and leather. Avoid heavy rain, snow, or muddy conditions to prevent damage and difficult stains.

Nappa leather is a high-quality, full-grain leather known for its exceptional softness, smooth texture, and durability. It's often used in premium footwear and accessories for its luxurious feel.

Clae trainers generally run true to size. We recommend ordering your usual UK shoe size. If you are between sizes, consider consulting a size guide or trying them on if possible.
