Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Hotter Foxton boots remain in peak condition, store them in a cool, dry place away from direct heat sources, which can crack the leather.
- Cleaning: Wipe away surface dirt with a soft, dry cloth. For tougher stains, use a mild leather cleaner specifically designed for footwear.
- Conditioning: Apply a leather conditioner every few months to keep the material supple and prevent it from drying out.
- Waterproofing: Consider using a leather-safe water-repellent spray if you plan to wear them in wet or snowy conditions.
- Zipper Care: Keep the zipper free of grit. If the zip feels stiff, rub a small amount of clear wax or a graphite pencil tip along the teeth to improve glide.
