Setup, Compatibility & Care
First-Time Use
Your UGG Classic Mini Dipper boots come ready to wear. No complex setup is required. We recommend trying them on with the type of socks you typically wear to ensure the best fit and comfort. For optimal longevity, consider applying a high-quality suede and sheepskin protector spray before your first wear to guard against water and stains.
Compatibility
These boots are designed for adult females and are compatible with a range of casual and cold-weather attire. They are intended for use in cool to cold, dry climates where warmth and comfort are priorities. Ensure you select the correct size, as UGG sizing can sometimes vary slightly.
Product Care & Maintenance
Proper care is essential to maintain the appearance and longevity of your suede and sheepskin boots.
- Waterproofing: Apply a suede and sheepskin protector spray regularly, especially before initial wear and after cleaning, to create a barrier against moisture and stains.
- Cleaning: Use a specialized suede and sheepskin cleaner. Follow the product instructions carefully. Typically, this involves dampening the boot, applying the cleaner, gently scrubbing with a suede brush, and rinsing lightly.
- Drying: Always allow boots to air dry naturally away from direct heat or sunlight. Stuffing the boots with paper towels or a boot shapers can help maintain their form as they dry.
- Brushing: Once dry, use a suede brush to gently restore the nap of the suede, brushing in one direction to remove any marks and rejuvenate the appearance.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place, ideally with boot shapers, to prevent creasing and maintain their shape during off-seasons. Avoid storing them in plastic bags as this can trap moisture.
Do NOT machine wash, machine dry, or dry clean your UGG boots, as this can damage the materials.
