No, this jacket is made from fleece and is designed for warmth and breathability rather than water resistance.
Use a soft brush to remove dust and a specialized nubuck cleaning sponge; avoid submerging or soaking the leather trim.
The jacket is cut for a flattering fit; however, if you plan to wear thick base layers underneath, you may prefer to size up.
It is recommended to air dry the jacket to preserve the integrity of the recycled fleece and the durability of the zip and trim.
Yes, the breathable material is excellent for active pursuits, though moisture may build up if worn as a single layer during extreme exertion.
Check for fabric caught in the teeth and ensure the jacket is laid flat; a small amount of clear candle wax can be applied to the teeth to lubricate.
Gently use a fabric shaver or a dedicated pilling comb to remove surface lint and restore the smooth appearance of the material.
To keep your jacket in optimal condition, treat the nubuck trim with a dedicated leather protector to prevent water spotting and cracking. The fleece material should be machine washed on a gentle, cool cycle using mild detergent. Avoid fabric softeners as they can degrade the breathable fibers. Hang the garment to air dry rather than using a high-heat tumble dryer to prevent shrinking or damage to the synthetic material. For best results, layer this jacket over a moisture-wicking base layer to maximize the thermal benefits of the fleece.
