Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup Instructions
Setting up your MCC Direct Event Gazebo is designed to be straightforward and tool-free, requiring two people.
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging: frame tubes, plastic connectors, roof cover, four side panels, guide ropes, and pegs.
- Assemble the Frame:
- Lay out the steel tubes and plastic joints.
- Connect the tubes using the plastic joints to form the base frame.
- Gradually build up the side supports and roof structure, ensuring all connections are secure. No tools are needed; parts should click or slot into place.
- Attach the Roof: Drape the PE roof cover over the assembled frame. Secure it to the frame, typically using Velcro straps or ties located on the underside of the cover. Ensure it is taut and covers all frame elements.
- Attach Side Panels (Optional): If desired, attach the four side panels using the integrated Velcro straps. You can choose to use all, some, or none, depending on your needs. The two window panels and two zipped door panels offer flexible configuration.
- Secure to the Ground: For optimal stability, especially outdoors, always use the provided guide ropes and pegs.
- Attach guide ropes to the designated points on the gazebo frame (usually near the top corners).
- Extend the ropes outwards at an angle and secure them firmly to the ground using the pegs.
- Ensure the ropes are taut but not overly strained, providing even tension on all sides.
Compatibility
This gazebo is designed as a standalone temporary shelter. It does not require any specific external compatibility beyond a flat, stable ground surface for setup.
Product Care & Maintenance
- Cleaning: The PE fabric roof and side panels can be wiped clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that could damage the material.
- Drying: Always ensure the roof and side panels are completely dry before packing away to prevent mildew and extend product life.
- Storage: Store all components in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight when not in use. Proper storage prevents damage to the fabric and rust on the steel frame.
- Inspection: Before each use, inspect the steel tubes, plastic connectors, and fabric for any signs of wear or damage. Address minor issues promptly to ensure safe and effective use.
- Weather Conditions: This gazebo is for occasional use only. DO NOT leave it erected overnight or during periods of strong winds, heavy rain, or snow. Disassemble and store the gazebo to prevent damage to the structure and potential safety hazards.
