Setup, Compatibility & Care
Installation
- Subfloor Preparation: Ensure the subfloor is clean, dry, and level. Any imperfections should be addressed with a suitable leveling compound.
- Acclimatization: Allow the flooring to acclimatize to the room temperature for at least 24 hours before installation.
- Cutting: Use a utility knife and straight edge to cut the flooring to the required dimensions.
- Adhesive: Apply a suitable vinyl flooring adhesive, following the manufacturer's instructions. Ensure the adhesive is compatible with the subfloor.
- Placement: Carefully lay the flooring, ensuring no air bubbles are trapped underneath. Use a roller to ensure a secure bond.
Compatibility
The flooring is compatible with most subfloors, including concrete, wood, and existing vinyl. Always check the subfloor for any issues such as moisture or unevenness.
Care
- Cleaning: Sweep or vacuum regularly to remove dirt and debris. Mop with a damp cloth and a mild detergent when needed.
- Protection: Use felt pads under furniture legs to prevent scratches.
- Avoid: Harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that may damage the flooring.
