Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Birkenstock sandals last for years, proper care is essential. When first trying them on, ensure the straps are adjusted so that your feet sit securely within the raised edges of the footbed. Because these are made with real suede, avoid exposing them to excessive water or rain, as moisture can alter the texture and color of the material. Use a specialized suede brush to remove loose dirt or debris regularly. If the suede becomes stained, use a dedicated suede cleaner and allow them to air dry away from direct heat sources, such as radiators, which could damage the cork foundation.
