The Andreson Hybrid Jacket is designed for lightweight warmth and is best suited for cool to mild conditions, or as a layering piece in colder weather. For extreme cold, consider adding a heavier insulating layer or a waterproof outer shell.

Machine wash on a gentle cycle using a liquid detergent and similar colors. Avoid fabric softeners. Tumble dry on low heat with dryer balls to restore loft.

Hybrid refers to the jacket combining different materials or constructions. In this case, it typically means insulated body panels combined with stretch panels in areas requiring more movement, like the sleeves and sides.

The jacket has a water-repellent finish, which is effective against light showers. For prolonged or heavy rain, it is recommended to wear a fully waterproof jacket over the top.

While the stretch panels offer good mobility, the jacket's primary design is for hiking and walking. It may be warmer than ideal for high-intensity running, but its breathability and flexibility make it suitable for lighter jogs in cool weather.

It uses Warmloft insulation, a synthetic alternative designed to mimic the warmth and compressibility of down.

To maintain the water repellency, avoid using fabric softeners during washing. Periodically, you may need to reapply a DWR treatment to the fabric.

Ensure the insulation is properly lofted. Try tumble drying on a low heat with tennis balls. Check that no other layers underneath are overly compressed.

The water-repellent finish may have worn off. Reapply a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) treatment according to the product instructions.

Ensure you are wearing the correct size. The jacket should fit comfortably without being tight, allowing the stretch panels to work as intended.

Check for any fabric caught in the zipper teeth. Gently try to work the zipper back and forth. Apply a small amount of graphite (from a pencil) or a wax-based lubricant to the teeth.
