Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: The HOKA Skyflow road running shoes require no specific setup. They are ready to wear out of the box. Ensure you have selected the correct size for a comfortable fit.
Compatibility: These shoes are designed for road running and general athletic training. They are most compatible with paved surfaces, treadmills, and light gravel paths. They are not designed for trail running with significant technical terrain or extreme conditions.
Care:
- Cleaning: After runs, gently brush off any loose dirt or mud. For deeper cleaning, use a damp cloth or a soft brush with mild soap and cold water. Avoid machine washing or drying, as this can damage the shoe's materials and structure.
- Drying: Always air dry the shoes away from direct heat sources like radiators or sunlight. Stuffing them with newspaper can help absorb moisture and maintain their shape during the drying process.
- Storage: Store your shoes in a cool, dry place when not in use. Avoid leaving them in hot cars or exposed to prolonged sunlight.
- Rotation: For optimal lifespan and to allow the cushioning to recover, consider rotating your Skyflow shoes with another pair if you run frequently.
