FAQs

Are these shoes suitable for running marathons?

These trainers are designed for casual fitness, gym routines, and daily wear rather than high-intensity, long-distance professional running.

How do I clean the leather upper?

Use a soft, slightly damp cloth to wipe down the leather. Avoid submerging them in water or using machine wash cycles.

Does the shoe provide arch support?

The Cloudfoam midsole offers substantial cushioning that adapts to the foot, providing a comfortable base for most arch types.

Can I use these for indoor gym activities?

Yes, the flexible rubber outsole provides excellent traction on indoor gym floors and stability for various exercises.

Are the insoles removable?

While the shoes are designed for comfort with the included midsole, the insoles are generally fixed to ensure the responsive feel of the Cloudfoam technology.

Why is the sizing on the box different from my UK size?

adidas often uses international sizing standards on packaging. Always confirm your UK size match before discarding the packaging.

Troubleshooting

Shoes feel tight after a long day

Loosen the laces slightly across the midfoot to allow for natural foot swelling during activity.

Sole grip feels slippery on wet surfaces

Clean the rubber outsole with a damp brush to remove accumulated dust or debris that reduces traction.

Pros and Cons

Pros

High-level comfort from the Cloudfoam cushioning technology
Stylish 70s-inspired design suitable for diverse settings
Durable leather construction for improved lifespan
Lightweight build prevents foot fatigue during daily activities

Cons

Not intended for high-intensity long-distance professional running
Material requires specific care to keep the leather pristine
Limited to adult sizing options

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure your adidas trainers provide optimal performance, follow these guidelines:

Initial Fitting: Always try your shoes on in the late afternoon when your feet are at their largest to ensure the best fit.
Care Instructions: Clean the leather parts with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners, as these can degrade the material. Air dry away from direct heat sources like radiators to prevent the leather from cracking.
Storage: Keep your trainers in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight to maintain the integrity of the textile components.
Sizing Note: Be aware that labeling on the box may display US or Euro sizing formats; verify your specific UK size before use.
