Product Information

Full details

A dense, medium to large evergreen shrub providing beautiful contrasting hues and interesting Winter flowering as well as exciting colour all year. The Viburnum tinus or laurustinus is a lovely plant with oval, rich dark green leaves which serve as a nice backdrop to the rounded clusters on small, pink tinged buds in late Winter which open to cream-white, mildly fragrant flowers in Spring and Summer. The flowers are followed by small blue-black berries in the Autumn months. Plant in moderately fertile, moist, humus-rich, well-drained soil. Grows well in sun or shade but a sheltered position is recommended to protect from cold, drying winds. Drought tolerant once established. A low maintenance and easy to manage shrub. Please Note: When purchasing plants please consider that each live item is unique and may, therefore, differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. This plant will be supplied in a grower’s pot.
